Current Work and Future Projects

Currently, I am all over the map so to speak, but it is a fun and exciting time. Much of what I am doing is the more modern pieces but I am also doing a Flaming Red Botanical Anthurium andreaeanum.

 

Another new area that I am excited about are Gourmet Spoon Rests. My deceased parents gave me a cute but simple Eggplant Spoon Rest from their trip to Italy quite some time ago. Like the clumsy oaf I am, it slipped out of my hand while washing it and it broke along with my heart after I turned it over and saw the Italia indication on the bottom. I decided that the only way to reverse the bad Karma was to not only replace it but also create many other designs. Like most of my wares, they are not intended to be inexpensive. Stay tuned for the final results, but the initial designs are not in the least simple but still very cute. They are intended for the serious Foodie. I am sure you know someone that would appreciate one, or you would not be reading this.

Along the same area of working with clay, I am also creating ceramic Koi and Trout Tiles for shower floors.

 

I also have a charcoal of a Female Golfer for a close friend, who was given an amulet from a key chain.
